"Jabiru" Australian Bushcamp

More about Jabiru

"JABIRU" was established in the late 1800’s on much larger acreage than remains today, and soon became a successful dairy and grazing operation.

The Jabiru, Australia’s only stork, after which the property was named, is still a regular visitor today.

Since 1979, "JABIRU" owned by Richard Kamphenkel. Half the property is used for horse and cattle grazing, while the other half remains in its natural bush state, providing a safe haven for the local wild life.
